Written by Ben Elton, and featuring the music of Queen, We Will Rock You, which opened in the West End in 2002.
The first production outside the UK, and the first production directed by Mr Elton, opened in Melbourne in 2003 before touring the rest of Australia and Japan. Michael was hand selected by Rock legend, Queen Guitarist Brian May to play the lead role, of Galileo.
Michael returned to the role of Galileo in 2009/10 for the productions UK touring company, this time performing opposite Sarah French-Ellis.This tour included the first arena production at the prestigious O2
