In addition to his impressive theatrical career, Michael has performed in his own right both in Australia and overseas. Michael has always enjoyed performing for charitable events including Side By Side By Sondheim with Ruthie Henshall for Enda Markey and the White Ribbon Foundation, and the opening of Rice Queen.

Michael has enjoyed success working with Sydney Symphony Orchestra as well as a more intimate performance of his own work at Sydney’s The Basement. He has had the opportunity to promote his theatrical work in various venues as well, including The Late Late Show in Ireland for We Will Rock You, and various Christmas concerts across Australia.

Michael has always been able to build a great rapport with audiences which has enabled his success as a musical theatre star, but it is when performing in his own right that his true abilities come to the fore.
